We create one-of-a-kind Dresses, Tops and Co Ords in timeless flattering designs using upcycled materials such as upholstery, cushion covers, household materials and more. We work on a zero waste basis and design garments that can be easily deconstructed for recycle when they eventually reach the end of their wearable life.
We avoid additional materials such as boning, any kind of plastic material, dress lining where feasible and unnecessary design features. We cut our materials using a technique which enables the garment to be recut and remade into another item when it eventually shows irreparable signs of wear and tear.
How it Works:
Our Upcycled Rental Collection garments are made as one-of-a-kind items in one size and one style specifically to rent. This is due to there being only one amount of vintage material available to create each dress.
We have launched Made to Order which means our Customers can chose from one of our made to rent sample dresses and request that one be made in their specific size and for them to keep forever.
Prices: Our Made to Order prices range from £75 to £250 depending on which style and material is required and if you are sourcing your own upcycled material or require WMWO to source this for you as part of your order.
How to Order: Book a 15 minute virtual or in real life consultation with our Designer and Founder Maria Loria.
Consultation Charge: We charge £5 for a consultation appointment which is fully redeemable against your Made to Order Garment.
Lead Time: Made to Order items have a lead time of 10 Days. This is because each item is made by our Founder Maria Loria. We do not outsource, all items are made in house at our Design Studio.
Bring your own material: We love it when our Customers source their own thrifted or repurposed material. This could be an old curtain, a table cloth, cushions. We only work with material that is already in circulation or deadstock headed for landfill. We cannot accept brand new material due to our sustainability mission towards a fully circular fashion world
