Half Term Children's Sewing Workshops:

Held on a Tuesday:

11am until 2pm 

2.30pm until 5.30pm  

A small group workshop for Children aged 6 to 15 years old to learn how to make scrunchies and bag make using Maria's design patterns and coaching.

A mix of assisted and taught machine and hand sewing techniques. 

£99 per child who is making. Up to one guest can join the ticket holder as a companion for anxious sewers, as a carer for anyone with a disability or as an adult accompanying a child for free. 

Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. 

Choose from Maria's Hobo Bag, Market Bag or Baguette Bag Patterns and range of different sized scrunchies.

How it works: 

Arrival: 15 minutes before workshops begin. 

Please advise after booking if your child is left handed and requires left handed scissors. No other requirements are needed. 

Pattern, pins, thread, cutting tools, needles, zips and all other items are provided by Maria

Process: selecting pattern, cutting the textile, sewing the bag, hand finishing the bag or scrunchies. 

Included: No added sugar squash and water.

Two free on site Parking Spaces for Workshop attendees.

Accessibility. The studio is based on the ground floor with ground floor access and has a disabled toilet for sewers attending with a disability.
