A small group workshop session for beginner sewers to learn how to read a dress sewing pattern, cut the pattern, sew their dress and finish their own dress. 

A mix of assisted and taught machine and hand sewing techniques. 

2 people per workshop over the course of two weeks. 

Choose from Maria's extensive archive of Vintage patterns which she inherited from her Auntie Margaret.

How it works: 

Arrival: at 4.45pm with a 5pm start.  

Finish time : 8pm 

Two evening sessions held on a Thursday. 

Customers are required to bring their own material and will need 3.5 meters.

Pattern, pins thread, cutting tools, needles, zips and all other items are provided by Maria 

Session 1: selecting pattern, measuring the body, adapting the pattern, cutting the textile. 

Session 2: sewing the pattern, fitting the garment, finishing the garment. 

Included: Soft drinks, Tea and Coffee.

Two free on site Parking Spaces for Workshop attendees.
